Effortless doesn’t begin to describe the essence of Kathrin and Marc’s Austrian wedding at Gut Purbach. The restaurant provided a sophisticated countryside backdrop for the subtly bohemian wedding, which Kathrin and Marc arranged themselves from abroad. Gut Purbach, Purbach am Neusiedlersee, Austria

For our venue, we looked for a white, plain town hall for the civil wedding, but we ended up doing it all at a lovely restaurant called Gut Purbach.

We had less than three months to organise a wedding in a foreign country from abroad. You cannot not always plan everything way in advance, and spontaneous last-minute actions make it all the better and more exciting. It all works out in the end anyhow.
For my wedding style, I went with a boho chic simple dress and extravagant makeup. The Belle and Bunty London wedding dress was perfect for me: raw silk and french lace.
