?Nik and I first met in Bristol, at the hotel where we both worked. I don’t think you can say it was love at first sight, he was the arrogant Head Chef and I was the pesky Event Coordinator! After about 6 months of Nik trying to woo me (with inappropriate flirting in the sales office), I decided to give him a shot and went on a date with him. And the rest is history. It was probably the best decision of my life! Whilst we were in Greece, visiting his family, Nik decided it would be the perfect time to propose. He spontaneously came up with the idea of taking me to the Poseidon temple just outside Athens (my star sign is Pisces, so it was the perfect fit), whilst the sun was setting and the huge August full moon was rising. It was impossible to say no, which I did scream before saying yes! It was so romantic and I couldn’t have dreamt of a better way to get engaged?.
