Welcome to the first afternoon post of the week everyone, today I am delighted to be welcoming Josh Wyborn (we’ve been told he only gets called Joshua if he’s getting told off) to Boho! I’m sure you’ll enjoy reading this post as much as I enjoyed writing it – I think this is a photographer who you can trust will have you in stitches on your big day, isn’t afraid of some big ideas and will produce you some spectacular images! As you?ve probably gathered by now, my name is Joshua Wyborn, but you can call me Josh now we?ve got to know each other a little. I?m a creative wedding photographer based in Carlisle, Cumbria, although that wasn?t my intention. The Cumbria bit, not the photographer bit. I came here in 2009 to study photography at The University of Cumbria and was so captivated by the awe-inspiring beauty of the Lake District that I decided to make it my home. While studying I learnt the art of being an F-stop ninja from the BBC as a photojournalist. I turned to weddings after a colleague of mine asked me to photograph his wedding. I won?t lie, I was terrified but honoured and as they say, the rest is history?
How long have you been taking photos for"

I?ve been taking photos for a long time; ever since I was knee-high to a tripod and got my shutter finger on my father?s camera. I?m a bit taller now, 6?5?, which gives me a unique perspective on things.
