Each year, Pantone release their colour of the year. Last year was my favourite for a long time, Greenery. It went on to be such a HUGE influence in the wedding world with greenery popping up everywhere. From greenery garlands on tables to hanging greenery and greenery in so many bridal bouquets, a real winner all round. It was announced in December that the colour for 2018 is Ultra Violet. Now, I have to admit, at first I wasn’t that impressed. If I’m totally honest, I’m not a massive fan of purple. However, as I started researching the colour pallette and the possibilities it lends towards weddings, it has grown on me. It’s a very opulent colour and by adding golds and silver to it, it can become very modern looking. Then if you add natural tones of greens and browns it works well on a rustic level. So todays Boho Pins is dedicated to Ultra Violet. I hope you like my selection and it gives you a few possibilities for your own wedding theme.
