Botanical meets Geometric ‘Modern Mohemia’ Wedding Inspiration
Today I want to inject some summer sunshine and warmth into your day with this super stylish styled shoot that has been sent into me by Sally Gallis from Events by Design. The shoot took place in June of this year at Architectural Plants, Pulborough in West Sussex. The team of suppliers wanted to create a Bohemian inspired shoot, but mix it up a bit by adding in a more modern twist. They used hard lines and geometrics against the softness of the botanical venue, mixing in the bright colours of the flowers and fringing of the stunning wedding dress. The results are this beautiful collection of images by Menzies Photography that play around with the idea of traditional Boho and show that you can still be Bohemian and have a modern edge.

We wanted to use a free-spirited bohemian vibe, but move this away from what is traditionally done; showing couples that they can have the boho style but that it can also be dramatic and playful.
The inspiration for the shoot came from the idea of using natural forms found in nature, juxtaposed with hard lines and geometric edges. We loved the idea of setting botanical fauna and fringing alongside each other and using light and dark to offset these shapes and textures.
