Breaking Up Is Hard to Do

Don?t panic—I?m referring to breaking up with wedding vendors!
I think it goes without saying that we put a lot of effort into picking vendors out for our wedding. Even having conversations with friends, meeting a vendor, and saying, ?Yup, we?re going with you,? takes time and effort. Sometimes, though, it just doesn?t work out.
My experience" I booked a hair/makeup trial at a salon that came highly recommended by a couple of friends who used it for their respective weddings. I scheduled my trial for the day of my bridal shower so I could give my hair/makeup a good test run. I brought lots of photos and, I felt, was pretty clear about what I wanted. I, a self-proclaimed makeup addict who wears a full face of makeup pretty much every day, was also looking forward to the ?treat yourself? aspect of getting my hair and makeup professionally done.

The salon was pleasant enough to work with, but it just wasn?t a good fit. What I got from the salon was pretty different from my inspiration photos. I asked for my look to be altered during my appointment, but we ran out of time. My professional hair and makeup wasn?t terrible, but I just didn?t feel like myself.

I rushed home to fix my makeup and loosen up/re-pin...
