Bridal Self-care for Pre-wedding Events
Are you freaking out about all the things you have to do before you say “I do”" Planning your wedding is stressful. There’s not only the big day that you have to take care of, but there is also a number of pre-wedding events, including everything from the bridal shower to the bachelorette party, that’s enough to cause any bride-to-be to have a pre-matrimonial meltdown. Which is why it’s so essential to take care of yourself during this crazy wonderful time. Before the mix of excitement and stress gets to you (and it ultimately will), it’s imperative to take the time to practice self-care. Here are some tips on how to center and re-energize yourself so you can be your best self for your pre-wedding events.
Work out Your Stress
Stress is the leading cause of burnout, fatigue, and illness (not to mention poor skin!). Working out stress is the best thing you can do for both your mind and body. While most brides focus on fitness for dropping weight before the big day, if you focus on exercise as being an essential part of your self-care regime, hitting the gym will feel less like work and more like doing yourself a major favor. Bonus for doing a workout like yoga or pilates that incorporates a peaceful and focused mind. Aim to workout three to four times a week, and mix it up to keep it fun.
Take at Least One Day off from Wedding Planning
Remember the life you had before you were planning showers, bachelorette parties, and, oh yeah, you...
