Today I am taking you off to one of my favourite places in the world, Cornwall. I spent my childhood years growing up in Cornwall, and even though I left when I was 18 to move ‘up North’ it still has a very special place in my heart, which is why I love featuring weddings from Cornwall so much. Today’s wedding features one of the most gorgeous Cornish wedding venues, Lusty Glaze Beach in Newquay. A stunning beach side venue with the most amazing views and terrific backdrop for photos. Carly and Pete have done an amazing job of making this wedding super pretty, with just the right balance of DIY projects to keep it personal, while bringing in the best suppliers to make sure it all runs smoothly. Carly and Pete were married on 25th May 2018 (and Pete?s 35th Birthday ? double celebration and a date he will never now forget) The ceremony was held at Church: St Paul – Ludgvan with the reception at Lusty Glaze Beach in Newquay, Cornwall. ‘Pete?s mum was a vicar at St Paul (and sadly passed away 3 months before we got together), and so there was no question as to where we wanted our ceremony to be (albeit it ever so bittersweet on the day). Lusty was a no-brainer for us, we wanted to have a big party by the beach and Lusty gave us the laid back, boho wedding we were looking for!
