Here we are on the brink of 2021 and wedding plans are still changing. It’s exhausting, to say the least, but there is one bright side and that is the permission we’ve all given ourselves to celebrate ANYWAY. Many couples are deciding to celebrate the original wedding date with something dubbed a “minimony.” Funny name, good idea, a minimony is essentially a preview of what’s to come when you gather again. We proposed this styled shoot in honor of all the couples who had to cancel their original plans but still wanted to celebrate on their original date, accompanied by just a few close witnesses. The couple was a real couple who had been in quarantine together and were ecstatic to be able to celebrate in this way. The idea was to present a small ceremony at the original hotel where the couple was having their wedding (in this case, Hyatt Regency Grand Reserve in Puerto Rico) and later, ...
