We love that Polina and James decided that their wedding day should be one spent together – getting ready and going to the church as a couple. It set the tone for their day and allowed them to savor each moment. The joy they felt is obvious in their photos!
From Polina, the bride:

In our wedding planning process we focused on what was the most important to us. We decided to have a church wedding in the Orthodox Christian tradition, followed by an intimate celebration with our best friends and our immediate family. We envisioned a naturally flowing day where James and I would share a special moment of getting ready together and our guests dressing up and joining us in the celebration of our marriage (without any wedding party duties). We wanted to complement a traditional ceremony and a traditional setting of Georgetown with an elegant and modern style. Our florist brought to life our love for a modern chic south beach design centered around lush tropical greenery, candlelight and flecks of gold in the all white table setting of the exposed brick ballroom.
