If you are looking for outdoor rustic wedding inspiration then today’s beautiful New Zealand wedding is just for you. Claire and Josh were married on 19th March 2016 at a farm in Waikato, New Zealand and they filled the day with lots of wonderful handmade details and decorations. The rustic feel of the day was married perfectly with the soft pink and cream colour scheme. With amazing flowers and beautiful vintage touches, as well as a gorgeous ceremony area complete with rustic hay bales and a gorgeous DIY arch. I spent a great weekend away in March at a destination DIY wedding at Maungaturoro (Northland, New Zealand) with an amazing couple Clair & Josh. The couple contacted me around a year ago to book their wedding at their family farm and I was happy to travel from Hamilton to Northland in order to capture the special moments for this couple. The bride and groom met each other 7 years ago. Josh made his proposal at their 5 year anniversary, at a weekend away in Sydney. What a romantic moment! Getting ready started for us at Mangawhai Heads in the beautiful house. We took a ride on an old retro car Valiant with the stunning bride and her two bridesmaids – Sophie and Robyn.
