From Tec Petaja…Â Claire and James knew from the start they wanted their wedding to be an intimate affair. Their goal was to have everyone feeling like dinner guests in their home, in the heart of downtown Chicago. They chose the Harris Rooftop Terrace in Millennium Park for its location but wanted the vast space to become warm and cozy.
To do this, they hired Renny Pedersen of Bliss Weddings & Events to transform the space to achieve their dinner party vibe. Renny partnered with Jesse Deckard, design chief at Bliss, to drop the 30 foot ceiling down to 15 feet to create a soft, warm tented effect.
