Understated, sophisticated, bohemian, and classic are all the words we’d use to describe Jessica and Alex’s El Paso wedding! This dynamic couple paid homage to their Mexican culture by using a rainbow of jewel tones, displaying handmade Spanish and English table numbers, and serving Mexican hot chocolate in traditional mugs at the end of the reception. The bride also channeled ’40s Mexican cinema actress style with a chic Rosá Clara ballgown for the ceremony — and then let loose with a sparkly BHLDN dress for the reception. Although the couple’s styles differ, Perfectly Poised Events helped them tie them all together into a cohesive look that Jordy B Photo captured in brilliant detail. I wanted to look classic and natural, and most of all, like me. My inspiration was drawn from classic Mexican cinema actresses in the ’40s. The look was chic and effortless. My wedding dress was everything I never knew I wanted! I swore I would never wear a ball gown, but once I slipped into my dress it was over. It was simple, not fussy, and had pockets.
