Classic Spring Yellow Library Wedding

Louisa and Patrick planned their Spring London wedding from their home in Australia and they chose to host their day at Charlton House in the beautiful library. A super cute library theme emerged in the details, complete with book-plate place names, a library card table plan and book favours.
The zingy yellow hues worked so wonderfully throughout, I especially adore the Spring blooms and Louisa’s bouquet sure was a sight to behold. She chose an embellished Pronovias gown which looked so very elegant, while Patrick wore his Australian Army service dress.

THE PROPOSAL | Patrick wrote the big question in the snow on a weekend away skiing in the Australian Snowy Mountains. A celebratory hot chocolate followed (and bubbles later!). I discovered a few days later that the day he proposed, 10th August, was also the day we first met six years before. A total coincidence, but of course he now claims it was planned! THE VISION | Something low-key, intimate and relaxed. A day filled with favourite people and favourite things. We live in Sydney so a day back home with friends and family is a rare and wonderful treat! This week in spring is my favourite time of year and always manages to deliver fine weather, and the yellow colour scheme fitted in well with this too.
