We knew that we wanted our wedding to be modern yet timeless. San Francisco City Hall is just that place, so we decided to have our ceremony there. It epitomizes marriage equality, so it was the perfect spot. As for the reception, we wanted to incorporate our Filipino heritage. We decided to have our reception at a Filipino-owned restaurant t?Abaca Panaderia, at the kimpton alton hotel. Their modern and contemporary take on Filipino cuisine was what we had in mind. We love the fall season so we incorporated natural browns and oranges in our color palette along with some neutral tones. We let the beautiful architecture of San Francisco City Hall speak for itself for our ceremony. As for the reception, fortunately the space was beautiful on its own. We added a few details with the help of some of our family and friends helping with signage and party favors.
