Colorful wedding inspiration from The Big Fake Wedding Kansas City
Morning, all! Isn’t this lounge area so fun" We’ve got the sweetest vow renewal story, not to mention a healthy dose of color, in today’s recap of The Big Fake Wedding, Kansas City edition, captured by Juliana Noelle Jumper Photography and Tori Alizabeth Photo. The crew set up shop at Bauer Event Space, which is a historic event venue in the Crossroads Arts District with amazing downtown views. The perfect canvas for a pop of color, we think!
If you don’t know how The Big Fake Wedding works, they bring together talented vendors in each of their 25 cities to create a celebration for couples to enjoy while soaking up loads of inspo for their own weddings. By incorporating a real life vow renewal in the event, brides are able to see all of these talents in action as they produce a real ceremony! This time around, it was Ashlee and Kevin, who did a vow renewal to celebrate their 14 years and four children together. Fun fact: their 14 year old son officiated the ceremony! How sweeeet is that"!
This time, vendors in Kansas City were challenged to channel their inner artist, with creative uses of materials and colorful elements to craft a DIY, homespun wedding design that really popped against their industrial venue.
This bouquet! So gorg.
The team was inspired by the creative installations and displays at Anthropologie when dreaming up tablescapes and decor. This ceremony backdrop was actually made from DIY hand-painted egg cart...
