The Venue
What can I say, we got told about Bert?s Barrow by chance. A friend had been to a wedding there and when they found out we were engaged they knew we would love it.
We went to go and see the venue in the September and booked it that day! It was perfect for us. A working farm with two giant potato sheds and a blank canvas for us to do whatever we wanted.
Its set in the village of Hillam in North Yorkshire and literally cant do enough to help. The team are so friendly and approachable!

Your Outfits & Accessories
I got my dress from a little local wedding shop called ?The Yorkshire Bridal Shop?. The team there are absolutely second to none! I went in with the idea that I wanted something boho and floaty, a bit mystical and came out with a beautiful lace/tulle tea dress. I am usually really conscious as I?m plus size so was really scared about trying dresses on in sample sizes.
I instantly knew the second I put this dress on which was chosen by my maid of honour, it was the second one I tried on and nothing could beat it! I felt amazing and could have walked down the aisle that second.
Over the time of the wedding dress purchase and the wedding day I lost a lot of weight nearing four stone!!! As such it had to be taken in A LOT but it wasn?t anything the ladies couldn?t fix and they smashed it!! Making...
