It was really important to me to wear a dress from a local South African designer. As soon as I tried on my dress I knew it was the one for me before I even looked in the mirror. The details on the bodice were exceptional and tulle skirt was so much fun to swing around, and to top it off the dress was so comfortable and as light as a feather! I also loved my full length veil that I wore for the ceremony. For the couple photos and reception I wore such a beautiful flower crown.
We spent some time finding some readings that we felt had some good advice and were relevant to our lives together. These were read by the bride’s brother and good friend from Australia. Also, the rug we stood on during the ceremony was our rug from our dining room at home.
