Cover Me Up!

Cold Weather Bridal Look
As I plan my wedding look, there’s one thing in the back of my mind: The weather in Chicago in April is a shitshow.
We could get a beautiful, perfect, 70-degree day. We could get gale-force winds. We could get a blizzard. And since it’s Chicago, we could get all of that (and more) in the same day.

So being the planner that I am, I’m trying to anticipate as much as possible—and work some outerwear into my wedding look—even though we’re having an indoor wedding.

So what am I considering"
Well, I could go with the winter coat I already have. It’s red, it’s wool, it’s beautifully cut, and it costs zero dollars (though I should probably get it dry cleaned).

OR I could do something I’ve been daydreaming about and go with the (faux) fur stole/jacket. Bonus: I wear a lot of vintage-inspired dresses, so it’d work with my going-out look, too. If I go this route, I’d probably get it in a rich brown, not white. I don’t know why—I just like it better.
