Low Updo with Jeweled Clip
As my countdown to W-Day gets ever shorter, and I get ever more nervous, I am trying to distract myself with fun stuff…like wedding hairstyles! (and some last minute shopping, because that always makes one feel much better).
I knew I wanted to have my hair up on my wedding day, as a) my hair is not super thick and becomes annoying quickly, and b) I felt my ensemble and general aesthetic for the day called for a sophisticated updo rather than bohemian waves.
 
My sister was also having trouble deciding, but we solved that one quickly.
I had a hair trial last month, and these pics are similar to what I asked for:

The trial went well—we did a side part and a low chignon-like knot with some texture. Krista from K Marie Hair Studio managed to get me great volume, in spite of my dumb hair.

Additionally, a couple of weeks ago I panicked in the middle of the night at not being ?sparkly enough? and bought TWO hair embellishments. Right then. On my phone.

I made sure that they included pearls to be consistent with my other accessories. I?m planning on bringing both and letting Krista and my sister make the final call that morning, but I?m SURE I?ll prefer the more expensive one, because BYE MONEY.
