Sheet Music Table Numbers
I’m interrupting your regularly scheduled programming to say that I had the longest, most stressful wedding nightmare last night!* It felt like it went on forever and it was the quintessential “stress dream”—we were running hours behind, the flowers for the bouquets were, like, dyed blue carnations or huge stalks of unknown origin, a big chunk of my hair got loose from its updo and no one would help me, and I realized I had completely forgotten to drop off ANY of the decor to the reception venue. Haha! OK, brain, calm down.
Anyway! I just finished our table numbers and thought I would share, as they were so easy and I’m very pleased with the way they turned out. Originally, I figured we’d do some kind of pretty, vintage-looking paper in frames, keeping with the warm and festive feeling we wanted. I searched for quite a while for paper or printables and didn’t find anything I really liked…until, one day, inspiration struck. What about antique sheet music" For old-timey, traditional Christmas carols"! A suggested Etsy seller, CuriousCrowDigital, came up who sold downloadable “grungy Christmas music” and let me tell you, it’s just perfect. Again, I didn’t want anything super Christmasy for our December wedding, but this is eye-catching while still being subtle enough that you’d have to lean in to read it.
