It’s been a while since I shared a DIY tutorial with you, so when this super cute DIY Terrarium Centerpiece landed in my in box from Meaghan White, I knew I had to share it with you. These terrariums are so hot in weddings right now, I see them all the time, and I really do LOVE them. They manage to mix the modern, with the bohemian and are a perfect addition to any wedding.

As well as using them for centerpieces for your wedding, they would also make amazing christmas gifts. Imagine how thrilled someone would be to receive this, especially when they find out that you have made it yourself. As DIY’s go this is a pretty easy one, so why not give it a go and see what you can create yourself.

For this project you’ll need:      

3-5 varieties of 2″ baby succulents. An assorted jar of Pebbles.
A bag of Moss
A glass container.
A spoon
A wet rag for cleaning the glass of your vessel
Topsoil

How to make a terrarium: 

1. Add pebbles to the bottom of your terrarium glass.

2. Put topsoil on top of the pebbles and press down with a spoon.

3. Use your fingers to add a hole for each succulent.

4. Press the soil with the bottom of a spoon, making sure that no roots are exposed and that you get rid of the air bubbles.

5. Finally, add Moss or other embellishments to your terrarium.

6. Give it a few light spritzes of water with a spray bottle.
