‘Tis the season to cozy up your living space, and what better way than with our fabulous new DIY"! We’re talking the ultimate craft and conversation started, because who wouldn’t be impressed with your new DIY candle. Just turn on that crockpot and press play, because we’ve got it all burning bright below!
Crockpot filled with water
Balloons
Wax
Wax Melts
Temperature Gauge Knife
Metal tin can
Parchment paper
Cut and chop enough wax to fill the 1/2 of the metal tin can (Note: if you are using a pot on a stovetop instead, you’ll want to cut enough wax to fill your vessel halfway). To add a bit of color, place 1/4 wax melt on top of the chopped wax in the metal tin can.
Once the water in your crockpot has reached 180 degrees, gently placed your tin can filled with wax in the crockpot (it’ll wobble a bit, but just hold it steady until it floats without tipping).
Once your wax has melted, remove your tin can from the heat source making sure that your color is well blended.
