Wow! What a DIY treat we have for you lovely lot today. Lowri and Geraint wed on the family farm on 27th August 2016 and the planning process truly was a labour of love. The whole family pitched in to make, grow and raise everything needed for a proper Welsh farm wedding, which of course was held in the barn. From the flowers grown by family to the meat fattened by Lowri’s parents, nearly everything was produced by the couple and their helpers.
Lowri and Geraint wanted a fuss free event, which focused on having a wonderful time with loved ones but there are plenty of simply amazing details. I love the classic Citroën vans that the pair used to serve gin and prosecco and the neon bar sign is just perfect for the barn setting. Of course it wouldn’t have been a Welsh wedding without a male voice choir! Lowri found her dress in French Connection on a quick shopping trip and the excursion to choose the bridesmaids dresses was complete after just 30 minutes when other fun activities called!
