It has been 6 days since the (U.S.) finale of Downton Abbey, so I hope by now this isn’t a spoiler.  We said goodbye to Downton on Sunday night during a 2-hour ender that included a happy wedding for Lady Edith. Yay for TV Weddings!
The fashion on Downton Abbey never disappoints, and Edith looked like a princess in her wedding gown and headpieces- I just realized the 2 head pieces are different!  Thanks to Lady Mary, Edith and Bertie were reunited, and even Bertie’s awful mother accepted Edith and Marigold into the family.  The two married with family and house staff onlooking.

Edith wasn’t the only one to marry this final season.  Lady Mary also married Henry, the race car driver.  Since it was her second wedding. Mary didn’t get too fussy with the dress and the event. Credit: Express

And who can forget, the wedding of Mr. Carson and Mrs Hughes earlier in the season" Mrs. Hughes got the wedding reception she wanted at the schoolhouse.
