The photographer for this inspo shoot – Bouquet Photography – was originally from Thailand and grew up with East Asian culture, but is now based in Orlando specializing in destination weddings and portraits. Since moving to Orlando, they noticed a serious lack of Asian culture in the wedding industry. The goal of this styled shoot was to showcase the beauty of East Asian culture and show that traditional outfits can be upbeat and modern, as well.

Celebrating Tradition on the Big Day
Maxine, an event planner for Lake Nona Lunar New Year 2022, also noticed the lack of weddings with traditional East Asian cultures involved in the community. Since it was a private editorial styled shoot, vendors came together with their creativities and talent to deliver the intention of this shoot: showcasing the beauty of East Asian cultures in an upbeat, modern style, to celebrate East Asian roots.
