The Greek Easter is around the corner. I am making all preparation in my house as family and a lot of friends have to for the last few years gathering in my home for the Easter. I have already dyed my eggs red as per the Greek custom and I just wanted to share with you, this beautiful time for me. I really enjoy Easter and all preparations. The ideal is to have Easter in one of the islands such as Santorini, Mykonos, Lesvos and may be Chios.
In each place the Easter is with common customs but unique as the same time as each place has its own customs which are kept until now?days.
The ideal time for a destination wedding in the Greek islands is the time after the Easter, especiay for  next year as our Easter is May 1st 2016. Imagine Santorini dressed in her Easter colors, red, yellow, orange, lilac, green, white,  blue and your wedding at the same time. The weather is mild, not too hot and the wind is low and think of your wedding ceremony either in a white washed chapel yard  or a wedding venue overlooking the caldera.
