Eclectic Joshua Tree wedding at the Sacred Sands Inn
Can we just say, we are so, so impressed by all the real weddings that we’ve been able to share here on 100LC as of late" Curtis + Maria’s day is no exception. As lovers of all things outdoors, they used to spend every other weekend exploring Joshua Tree, so choosing a location to celebrate with 120 friends + fam was the easiest part of planning. From there, they took on all the planning, design, and details themselves. No surprise, their eclectic bohemian theme as captured by Danielle Poff Photography did this gorg spot the justice it deserves…
Major fans of this mauve color palette for bridesmaids over here! Each gal wore a different brand and style.
Curtis explains, I asked Maria to marry me about eight years into dating. We both like rock climbing and camping so for the engagement I asked her to come climb a mountain with me. It was a 3-day backpacking and climbing adventure culminating in the proposal at the top of a 12,000? alpine peak!
BTW, our groom had a pretty big pro tip for all you saying I Do in a small town: If you plan to use a rideshare app for guests, make sure they schedule it in advance rather than requesting the ride right when they need it. It?ll take a bit longer to get drivers from nearby areas, even if you?ve already notified the company about your event beforehand. Good tip!
Maria is a graphic designer, so she took on all the signs, invites, and design work. She even made these sweet enamel pins ...
