Happy Tuesday everyone! I hope you are all having a great week so far" Today I am delighted to be taking you to Harrogate in Yorkshire for the beautiful wedding of Eli and Adam who were married on 27th August 2023 at Wharfedale Grange with 180 guests. The wedding was sent into me by one of my lovely directory members Meg Senior who is an amazing celebrant. She created a touching, funny and heart felt ceremony, which also included some of the most gorgeous flowers I have seen in a long while. An outdoor ceremony where they just about managed to dodge the rain, followed by a barn reception with one heck of a party. Big thanks to Hamish Irvine for the wonderful photos.

Their wedding was a cultural fusion, reflecting Eli?s Jewish heritage and including traditional English elements too. Up until ten minutes before the wedding it was raining torrentially and just in time the sky cleared. We had a beautiful outdoor celebrant-led ceremony, with a string quartet, both parents accompanying the bride, readings from Eli?s siblings, and a traditional glass smash crescendo! To give themselves the absolute best chance of having a happy marriage, Eli and Adam requested words of wisdom from older relatives who have long established marriages. I coordinated responses so the advice was a surprise for E+A during the ceremony.
