Emily and Martin’s Shabby Chic Grey and Pink Hertfordshire Wedding By Fiona Kelly

Happy Tuesday everyone. I hope the week is treating you well so far. Today we are heading off to Hertfordshire for this gorgeous wedding that took place at Brocket Hall. It’s a lovely relaxed day, full of homemade projects, beautiful details and some well thought through styling ideas. The Charlie Brear dress is just beautiful, as is Emily the bride. The whole day is chilled and full of a country Boho vibe that Fiona Kelly from Fiona’s Wedding Photography has captured beautifully.
‘A chilled out day with our favourite people. Relaxed and informal with great food and lots of dancing’
Emily and Martin were married on 4th October 2014 at The Oak Room ? Brocket Hall in Hertfordshire. ‘The venue ticked all the boxes for us. Barn like feel, ceremony and reception at the same location. accommodation on site for bridal party. Liked the atmosphere and very picturesque setting. We had a total of 120 guest and planning took Twelve months.’
How they met
Met at a local bar in 2007. Together for 7 years when we got married.
The Proposal
Emily lived in Brighton for university when we first met so we spent our first year together with me travelling down on the weekends to visit. So ever since we always go down a couple of times a year as it?s a special place for us. So sitting on Brighton beach in front of the old pier during sunset with a bottle of champagne, was the perfect place to propose.
How did you allocate your budget
