I am a little sad to lose my maiden name, but a) I took it as my new middle name and b) it sure will be nice not to be mistakenly addressed by last name anymore.
Would you have done anything differently" Yes—I wish I had tried the passed snacks we had arranged as a late-night treat while dancing. Deep regret there. Beyond that, not really! It would have been great to stick to our initial projected budget, but I very quickly loosened up (a lot) when we realized what it would cost to get married in the city. Oh well. Also" I?m SO glad I blogged the whole experience. It?s the coolest digital scrapbook of this special time, and I would highly recommend doing it, even if it?s just for your close friends and family. It?s a huge job, but you?ll be so happy you have it after all is said and done.
