This fairy tale cabin wedding is so enchanting, even the Grimm Brothers would have to agree! Guests were transported into Tana and Cody’s real-life fantasy when they arrived at Tana’s family’s cabin in the woods of Northern Michigan for the couple’s special day. Every corner of Tana and Cody’s wedding was decked out in stunning DIY details like floral terrarium centerpieces, a cascading wall of books, and vintage-styled vignettes. The most important part of planning our wedding was creating a celebration of love that really embraced who we are as a couple. We wanted our special day to be intimate, fun, and straight out of a fairytale!
We knew we wanted a fairytale wedding in the woods so we decided to have it at my family’s cabin in the woods in northern Michigan. Unfortunately, the cabin burned down right after we had decided to get married there. Everything was destroyed and we were heartbroken. Luckily, our amazing friends and family joined us and we spent the next year rebuilding everything from scratch. It took serious hard work and dedication but it turned out better than we could have ever imagined.
