For this most beautiful fall Friday, we’re taking a little trip up the coast to Oregon, where Evangeline + Evan celebrated their anniversary just outside of Portland. You might remember them from their LA sunset proposal story here on the blog last year. When it came to their anniversary trip, they were all about having their photog Sara Byrne capture them in a gorgeous natural setting.

Cue aforementioned gorgeous natural setting!

Evangeline says, As a wedding photographer I am often overwhelmed by the amazing talent that surrounds me so when it came time to choose our own wedding photographer it was no easy task. We originally hired Sara when we were planning our Big Sur elopement. When that fell through we knew we still wanted to get in front of her camera somehow someway. With our five year date-iversary coming up (11/11/11) we knew we had the perfect time! We flew up to Portland with our dog Chichi and set out on an adventure discovering the gorgeous Oregon landscape with Sara.

Their fave moment was watching the magical sunset over the gorge, where they were completely lost in the moment. Afterward, they had dinner at their fave Portland spot. Sounds perfect!
