Family Elopement Ideas in the Derbyshire Countryside in Blue Hues
This week’s editorial shoot showcases two different couples, one meeting at their intimate ceremony in the fields on horseback, the other couple a family with two children. I adore both of these gorgeous couples and their portraits but I am going to focus on the concept of a family elopement primarily. Why" Well because it’s not something I often come across and essentially it’s exactly what my husband, two children and myself did back in 2010, we had a woodland ceremony for the four of us.
Let’s face it many many couples have children before they get married (hands up, I was one of them!) and I think it’s just wonderful to have a family elopement with your children. Given the current pandemic and the uncertain future currently of big wedding celebrations, this could just be the perfect way to celebrate before having a great big party (we also did this, OK enough about me, promise). Involving your children so closely in your wedding will make your wedding ceremony also a celebration of your family unit. So special, so romantic and all the more meaningful.
