If you read my previous posts…you know I tried on A LOT of dresses. It took me about 20 tries and three appointments before I even found one I remotely felt beautiful in. But finally?at stop number six, I said yes to the dress! I use this cliche, overused phrase because I actually bought my dress at Kleinfeld!

From the very beginning Mama Dreamcatcher was DYING to go to Kleinfeld. But I?ve seen the show…those dresses START at $1,500, which was my entire budget, including alterations. To me, that is already an INSANE amount of money for a piece of clothing I am going to wear once, and I couldn?t imagine spending any more. However…Mama Dreamcatcher is not great at letting things go and still brought it up any chance she got (you know, like mothers do best). I held firmly to my no for a whole year, until she saw an ad for the annual sample sale. It took a lot of convincing, but I finally said I would go. Even if I didn?t get my dress there, it was a fun thing to do with my mom—no harm no foul. She said she ?had a feeling we?d buy something,? so how could I say no" Turns out, Mama Dreamcatcher was right (you kno...
