Feathery Foodies: What?s on Our Menu"
Mr. Feather and I did something that most wedding planners wouldn?t recommend: We booked our caterer before tasting even a morsel of their food. Kaspars Catering (who I?ll be raving about for the next ~600 words) is the exclusive caterer for Stimson-Green. We fell in love with the mansion and I saw that Kaspars had great reviews, so we took a chance and signed the contract.
We had no idea what to expect going into our tasting.
But after we took the first bite (a delicious eggplant roll with goat cheese)?

It was so good.
So good that all the notes I planned on taking about my preferences pretty much flew out the window.

Fortunately, Mr. Feather took more detailed notes, which were basically a more sophisticated version of my chicken scratch. He was surprised by how Texan some of the dishes tasted, and afterwards we found out that Chef Kaspar spent some time as the executive chef at the Four Seasons in Houston. Definitely a win for our Texas guests! The hardest part about picking our menu was that everything was genuinely delicious. Every time Chef Kaspar came out of the kitchen to serve another dish or see how things were going, I was like a fawning cartoon character with little hearts for eyes.
