Feelings

Warm Candlelight Weddings
Once you decide to get married and the rabid excitement starts to dissipate, you’re left with the fact that you have to plan the dang thing. So how to really begin"
I have to admit, I tend to be wary of the overly matchy wedding ?theme.? I was even originally noncommittal about colors; I was afraid of veering into dated or kitschy territory (and you KNOW the Christmas season can be full of that sort of thing). If you’re nodding along sagely right now, then you too might benefit from one easy exercise:Â first, decide what feeling you want your wedding to have. I didn?t know much at the beginning, but I knew I wanted a Christmastime wedding without it being overtly…Christmasy. No ornaments or poinsettias or reindeer, but I did want the feeling of a festive and celebratory holiday season. I also knew I wanted warm light, not cold—which meant sticking to candlelight/golds rather than silver/blues. I wanted the whole day to feel like having a spiced cocktail by the fireplace with your favorite people, but a bit more formal.
Does that make sense" Here are some images that might say it better:
