The ultimate desert color palette: dusty desert road, marigold, rose gold, and other neutrals to complement the landscape.

We didn’t have a theme, we simply wanted our wedding to reflect us and our relationships?easy and laidback? I knew I wanted to get married in the desert, in the Joshua Tree area. All the venues we visited were nice, but a little too boho for me. When we visited Pioneertown Ranch, we both got a little emotional. It was a blank canvas for us to create on, and the homestead was exactly the house we’d build and design if it was our own. Jennifer DeLonge, the designer and owner, is an absolute genius with what she did with that space. 
Their biggest DIY was this unique ceremony backdrop?Sean designed it and Lauren (a hobby woodworker) converted their garage into a workshop so they could built it together. It was their fave experience of planning!
