We feel that the more information we can share with our Brides the easier and more wonderful their weddings can be. So we are excited to share this behind the scenes peak at the thought process behind this beautiful shoot.
From the Floral and Event Designer:
When opting for a more minimalistic design choice, it is important to be intentional with every detail. With an earthy palette stepping into spring, we chose a grounded modern meadow installation, a low terra cotta vessel, and long flowing silk ribbons to continually pull the eye back toward the earth. The open, light-filled venue offered the ideal space to capture the nuance of the floral palette and the delicate details in our bride?s vintage J. Mendel gown. The delicate gown?s low pleating capture attention with a gentle nod to the past, while remaining fresh and current with the revealed back and high neckline. The color combination was inspired by the soft romantic Japanese sweet peas that took a central role in the design process. Their gentle stems were wrapped with fluffy spirea, roses and hellebores.
