Last year I remember reading in the Sunday Times that Foxhill Manor had taken the accolade for the hotel of the year as well as being the most romantic hotel this decade within the UK. Since then, at wedding events throughout the year, the name Foxhill Manor kept popping up more and more as the latest favourite for planners as an exclusive venue in The Cotswolds. And then it won awards through Mr & Mrs Smith. So before our stay there last Sunday, expectations were already very high. This can be a danger, my husband always says that one of my biggest flaws in life is setting my expectations impossibly high and then feeling disappointed when they can’t be met. But fear not, Foxhill Manor came out higher than I could have ever imagined, and that’s coming from me! It really was on a completely different level to anywhere else we’ve stayed in the UK.
