Fragrance: A Key to Happy Memories
Wedding Day Scent
Greetings, hive! I hadn?t planned on writing about this topic, but I had such a lovely experience picking out a wedding day fragrance that I thought I would pass the recommendation along. I have to mention first—I used to wear perfume regularly but have been pretty intentional about using natural products for the past few years. (You want a good Halloween scare" Put your favorite products into www.goodguide.com or www.ewg.org/skindeep and see what terrifying chemicals you may be absorbing every day.) I also realize that some people are very sensitive to heavy perfumes and I’d rather not accost people with fragrance. However, considering that smell is one of the strongest triggers of memory, I was interested in finding a special (and inoffensive) scent for our wedding day. So last week, I was at Nordstrom returning a dress I had bought for a potential honeymoon dinner (a word to the wise—Topshop does NOT use vanity sizing. LOL so small), and I had a little time to kill before an appointment. The fragrance counter caught my eye, and I remembered reading about the ?wood sage and sea salt? fragrance from Jo Malone, so I wandered over. I browsed through the area but didn?t see any JM, so I finally asked—and was directed to the JO MALONE PALACE that was next to the perfume section.
