Shanna and Caleb’s wedding celebration was an intimate event with only 25 people, so they went the extra mile when it came to the smaller details. The outdoor ceremony featured an organic floral chuppah with vintage furniture seating for all of the guests. Shanna wore an off-the-shoulder silk dress by Lihi Hod. She originally had vowed not to wear white on her wedding day, but the second she put that gown on, she cried and knew it was the one.  Cocktails in colorful glassware were displayed at the tented reception entrance for dinner, along with calligraphy bottles to guide guests to their seats. Charcuterie and salads were served in small wire baskets to add to the late summer picnic vibes. And the party went late into the night, summing up the wedding’s slogan of “Celebrate Everything.”
Event planner and designer Social Maven would encourage every couple to, “Stay true to yourself. The wedding industrial complex can sweep you away and take charge of your day. But it is your day. So stick to what you both want, and if you need to be flexible, figure out what your priorities are and how to achieve those. Mostly, have fun! Take deep breaths, and take mental snapshots of all the beauty that surrounds you on that day. It goes by so quickly, and you want images and memories to hold on to.”
