All weddings are wonderful in their own right, but when one comes along with glitter, dinosaurs, and awesome music (three of my favourite things!), you know you’re in for something extraordinary!
Lovely WWW readers Alison and Craig tied the knot last summer in Glasgow, and created a sparkling day revolving around fun, their history, and all the things that really matter. We love the care with which the couple injected personal elements unique to them, to create a celebration that truly told the story of their love. The décor of the day reflected their own individual style, eclectic, laid back, and informal; our favourite details would have to be the record themed table numbers, dinosaur inspired cake topper and place card holders, the 9 flavours of cake, and – wait for it – the glitter-lined aisle! The vintage 1920s feel of the bride’s stunning custom designed dress (with not one, but two capes) draped in perfect unison with the bridesmaids’ silver sequinned column dresses, shimmering alongside the wonderland of tablescape and venue details. The wild, natural bouquet of textured blooms is effortless, echoed by the dreamy floral curtain mantelpiece installation setting the scene for their ceremony.
