In the spirit of last week’s affordable makeup brand post, I was sent some bits to try from Glo & Ray* and have been super impressed with the results, so I thought I would share some thoughts and use them to create a wearable every day makeup look.
Glo & Ray are a British brand which draw their inspiration from radiance and light, and their ethos is to create wearable products which enhance a woman’s best features. This sits between high end and drug store price wise – lipsticks are £12, eyeliners £9 and bases from £15.  Here’s the look using ~ the CC Foundation in shade 20, Mariposa eyeshadow quad in Twilight Nude, Lumincent setting pressed powder, Eternity lasting eye liner in Redtsingy (top), lasting silky liner in Champagne Pink (waterline), creamy shimmer lip colour in Scandal, and hydrating lip gloss in Flamingo Dance. Brows, mascara and blush are my own.

CC Foundation ~ I love love love this! I am genuinely so impressed because this kind of formula I would never usually look at – it’s so hydrating which usually makes me think 1. it isn’t going to cover, and 2. it’s not going to last the day.
