After a surprise proposal party at the then-newly opened Hotel Van Zandt, Madelyn and Ryan returned to the stylish hotel for their sleek and contemporary wedding inspired by the unique venue. The couple kept it simple with a chic and neutral color palette of golds, greys, and taupes that represented both the bride and groom without overwhelming the refined space for a simple and modern vibe with a hint of edge. Floral design by Bouquets of Austin created the luxe-chic décor, bursting with classic white blooms and lots of greenery. After Ryan proposed, he surprised me that evening with our closest friends for a cocktail party at the Hotel Van Zandt (which had just opened at the time). I felt that the whole venue captured my style, and I knew I could make it my own and incorporate the unique venue design.
