Gorgeous Pastel Peach and Mint Indian Fusion Wedding at Graystone Quarry
Pujita and Tom’s Tennessee wedding at Graystone Quarry was a beautiful fusion of cultures and styles! Unlike many of the Indian weddings we see, they used a muted color palette for a totally organic and slightly whimsical springtime wedding feel. Then they added bohemian details, nods to Pujita’s work as a zookeeper, and handmade favors to round out the personal and sentimental feeling. We love that their ceremony space was technically indoors but was open-air to make it feel one with nature. We also can’t get enough of these images captured by Allie Chambers Photography, who managed to capture every moment with a remarkable awareness of the intimacy the couple wanted to evoke on their special day.

Graystone Quarry, Franklin, Tennessee
We made our ceremony a mix of Indian and American. Tom walked into the ceremony surrounded by friends and family in a Baraat with a Dholna drummer. Once everyone was seated there was a Ganesha puja. Afterwards, we had a guitar player play the processional song with our flower girl, ring bearer and then myself walking in. We asked the Indian priest to speed up the ceremony so it was shorter. Right after the Indian portion, we had two of our friends officiate a short American portion where we exchanged vows.
