An ethereal ancient castle shoot inspired by the haunting mystic of medieval history.

Shot at Sheriff Hutton Castle – once one time the grandest castle in Northern England, the location of this shoot is steeped in over 600 years of royal history. A once favourite residence of Richard III and Henry VIII, we wanted a haunting regal theme to be a strong undercurrent of this shoot.

The Sounding Hall ? licensed for 56 guests ? is a focal point in the shoot.
Utilising a black metal arch to form the ceremony space, the floral design by @IntoTheMeadow_Wildflowers evoked that of an overgrown ruin. We wanted the florals to look as if they were wildly growing within the castle walls, as the ivy does naturally on the outer walls.
