Bees, I love this musical! And like the song from the Broadway musical of the same name, we?re going to talk about hair today. You?ve probably gathered I?m not a girly girl. My hair routine has a whopping three steps—wash, condition, blow dry. If it?s a special occasion I?ll break out the straightener or curling iron…but it better be a darn extraordinary day.

Since I never do anything to my hair, there was no way an attempt at DIY was a good idea. I loved the salon that styled me for our second round of engagement photos, but they were already booked. Despite it being almost 10 months in advance, I was finding this was the case with a lot of local places. Thankfully, Bridesmaid Ravenclaw came to the rescue with the name of a salon where she had her hair done for a wedding during summer 2015. All the ladies looked fab in that wedding, so I was sold. Salon = booked. Before they assigned a hairdresser to me, they wanted me to send in some inspiration pics to pick who was best suited for the job.
