Hanging Around: DIY Bridesmaid Hangers!

I got a little crafty last weekend, bees! You?ve all seen those adorable photos with everyone’s dresses hanging in all of their glory, like this:

Those hangers are super gorgeous, right" Problem is…even something that isn?t super expensive adds up when you have to buy seven of them. I couldn?t bring myself to spend upwards of $70 just because I wanted a few pretty pictures. So I went where all brides go who want something but don?t want to spend a lot of money on it…Pinterest! I found this tutorial and ran with it…thus Miss Dreamcatcher?s DIY bridesmaid hangers!
Supplies:
1 hanger per bridesmaid + 1 for the bride, hopefully with one or two extra to experiment with (I bought mine at Bed Bath and Beyond, 12 for $11 with one of their infamous 20% coupons.) 1 roll wrapping paper (I got mine at Target, $3 for a roll.)
Modge Podge
sponge or brush to apply Modge Podge
X-Acto knife (Scissors may also work, but I think it?s easier to be precise with a thin, sharp blade.)
straight edge (credit card, triangle, ruler, etc.)
paint, if desired
All photos personal
Instructions:
Step 1: Start by figuring out how much paper you need per hanger. With my roll I could set two hangers sitting opposite directions on one row. Obviously, make sure there’s enough paper to cover the whole hanger, but trim as much extra as you can so you’re not fighting with unnecessary floppy paper.
