Hey there, bees! It?s the brand new Miss Feather here. I just about jumped out of my chair with excitement when we got back from our rainy, post Valentine’s Day hike and found an email from Mrs. Mouse waiting for me. I?m so excited to share our ceremony ideas, venue-hunting adventures, my quest for the perfect dress, *deep thoughts* about our future together, and everything related to our journey to married life with all of you.
I met Mr. Feather a little over two years ago while we were both living in the Bay Area doing typical San Francisco things—him startups, me graduate school. Since then, we?ve lived in three states (and broken two leases, ouch), road tripped all over the country in his much loved Mini Cooper, crisscrossed Europe on a fun adventure to a friend’s wedding in a vineyard in the Rheingau region of Germany, and adopted a furry cuddle companion and hiking buddy.

As a software developer by trade, Mr. Feather is the more analytical person, while I?m the one who brings the feelings to the table. We both love the outdoors and love to spend our weekends hiking in the Cascades, skiing and snowshoeing in the winter and sailing on my dad?s catamaran in the summer. If we have a chance to get outdoors, we?ll take it.
